We are pleased to invite you to this online masterclass covering assessment and treatments in Epilepsy in Intellectual Disabilities.

Who should attend the masterclass? 

Health professionals with an interest in Epilepsy including: 

•    Neurologists
•    Psychiatrists in Intellectual Disability
•    GPs
•    Specialist Epilepsy Nurses
•    Pharmacists
•    Allied Health Professionals
•    EEG Technicians 

The sessions will cover:  

•    Vagal Nerve Stimulation in Epilepsy and Intellectual Disabilities
•    Factors Influencing Choice of Anti-seizure Medication in Epilepsy and Intellectual Disabilities
•    Neuropsychology of Epilepsy and Intellectual Disabilities
•    Requesting and Interpreting EEG in Intellectual Disabilities

Places are limited and will be assigned on a first come - first served basis. 

This year's RESPECT 4 NEURODEVELOPMENT annual event will be held at The Ortus Centre, SE5 8SN, London, 15-16th September 2025. The event will include a keynote by Professor Mark Johnson, a satellite event on research in naturalistic environments, and a symposium on the ethics of neurotechnologies for neurodivergent children.

This year the event is exclusively in person only (no online access is available). This is a two-day event and those attending are encouraged to attend both days. 

Registration is mandatory and nominal fee required for those attending, which is one payment covering both days. Please ensure you select the correct ticket option otherwise this could invalidate your ticket: 

Option 1: R4N Member - STUDENT
Option 2: R4N Member - NON-STUDENT
Option 3: Speaker / committee member / grant awardee*
Option 4: Non-Member (Opens 1st August 2025)

*If you are presenting at the event, a committee member or have been awarded a travel bursary please register using option 3 where the nominal fee is wavered.

Bookings are open to R4N members exclusively until August when non-members of R4N can register.

The RESPECT 4 Neurodevelopment Annual Event welcomes industry members from areas of neurotechnology that are relevant to neurodevelopmental conditions in children and infants.  

The Co-Operative Studies on Brain Injury Depolarisations (COSBID) Local Organizing Committee invites you to the annual International Conference on Spreading Depolarisations 2025 (iCSD 2025)

Who should attend the conference   

Basic and clinical neuroscientists at all career levels   

iCSD2025 is fully translational, offering around 50% clinical and 50% basic neuroscience over four days. 
Keynote presentations from leading clinical and basic neuroscientists.  

• Introductory clinical educational half day on December 8th  
• Predominantly clinical presentations on December 9th. Free paper and poster sessions throughout the meeting.  
• Progress reports of clinical trials attract particular interest and are expected to be a feature of iCSD2025.
